Garretson youth wins kids Dutch Oven Cook Off

Grace Homer of Garretson won fourth place in the Kids Dutch Oven Cook Off at the Spirit of the West, held in Sioux Falls last month. Homer had never cooked in a Dutch oven before and made an apple crisp for her entry with the help of the Sigmon Chuck Wagon from Auborn, Iowa. Homer won $5 for her fourth-place prize.
