Scouts to collect for Brandon Food Pantry

Brandon Valley Cub Scout Troops will be scouting for food in Brandon and Valley Springs this month. Cub Scouts will distribute white grocery bags on house doors Oct. 22 and 23 and will pick up the bags in the morning hours of Saturday, Oct. 24. A drop box will also be located at Sunshine Foods in Brandon for people who will not be home to donate.
Non-perishable food items, toiletries, health and beauty products, and food storage items are among the requested items.
Food and other items collected will be given to the Brandon Area Food Pantry.
