Brandon men to address entrepreneurship class

On Wednesday, 16 students from The University Center and Dr. Lisa Little Chief Bryan’s entrepreneurial class will attend an entrepreneurship class taught by prominent entrepreneurial individuals in the field of business from the Sioux Falls area. This high-energy question and answer class is designed to expose students to the real world of business.
The class will be offered from 4 to 6:45 p.m. at 705 N. West Ave., Sioux Falls.
The entrepreneurial speaker lineup includes Dr. Lisa Little Chief Bryan, USD at The University Center, Little Chief Fry Bread, Scott Sletten of JDS Industries, and Steve Richardson of Ace Signs, all of Sioux Falls; John Small of Small Wonders, and Darrell Vander Esch (Pizza Ranch), both of Brandon; and Glenna Thill, a former business owner from Lake Madison.
In addition to the above speakers, invited to attend are Barb Heller, SDSU, Coordinator of Entrepreneurship; Dr. Ryan Van Zee, USF Coordinator of Entrepreneurship; Shelly Gardner, Head of Entrepreneurship Studies at Augustana College; Rhonda Pole, DWU Professor of Entrepreneurship Studies; and Dean Mike Keller, USD School of Business.
The entire evening is intended to spark the entrepreneurial spirit in students and motivate them to start businesses in South Dakota.
A meal will be served.
