HS volleyball championships featured on SDPB

South Dakota Public Broadcasting spotlights the achievements of South Dakota youth on Nov. 19-21 with coverage of the girls South Dakota High School Volleyball Championships.
Check SDPB.org as the tournaments progress Nov. 19-21. Tune in on Saturday, Nov. 21, for live SDPB TV and Web coverage of the A and B finals from Watertown. The AA finals will air live from Brookings via Web, and in some 130 South Dakota communities whose cable systems are served by SDN Communications. Alliance Communications will broadcast the Class AA Web cast for cable subscribers in Brandon, Carthage, Garretson, Howard, Hudson, Oldham, Ramona and Valley Springs, Inwood and Larchwood, Iowa, and Hills, Minn.
The schedule for Nov. 21 includes:
• 5:30 p.m. CT/4:30 p.m. MT, Class B
• 8 p.m. CT/7 p.m. MT, Class A
• 8 p.m. CT/7 p.m. MT, Class AA (Web and selected cable systems)
SDPB honors the achievements and talents of the state’s youth through coverage of a wide variety of events, offered in partnership with the South Dakota High School Activities Association.
In addition, talented high school students will gain experience behind the scenes. Students from Brookings will operate cameras for AA volleyball and students from Watertown will operate cameras for B and A Volleyball.
