Historical Society plans holiday book sale

The Brandon Historical Society will be host its Holiday Book Sale in The Book Room at the Brandon Area Museum, 412 E. Elm St., on Saturday, Dec. 19, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
“More than 15 boxes of books have been shelved since our last book sale,” organizer Deb Rothenberger said. “Some of the newly-donated books are current novels and non-fiction history and biographical books.”
The book sale also includes hundreds of children and adolescent books, hardcover books, paperbacks, recorded books of fiction, nonfiction books and cookbooks.
Hardcover and softcover books are $1 and paperbacks are 50 cents. The used book sale proceeds will go to the Brandon Area Museum fund.
Also, the Brandon Historical Society is selling the Brandon Area History book for $30. It is available at the Brandon Area Museum, the 1948 Trading Company, 216 E. Blvd., and the Brandon Valley Area Chamber of Commerce, 109 N. Pipestone St. in Brandon. Proceeds from the book sales are also directed to the Brandon Area Museum fund.
