SFACF scholarships now available

Sioux Falls Area Community Foundation scholarship applications are now available online at www.sfacf.org.
SFACF has more than 70 scholarships available. Awards range from $250 to $5,000 per academic year.
Two of SFACF’s most recognized scholarships are available to students graduating from any high school in the state. The Joe Foss “An American Hero” Scholarship recognizes students who demonstrate characteristics of an American patriot, and the Fred and Marie Christopherson Scholarship recognizes high school seniors who plan to continue their education at a college or university in South Dakota.
Scholarships are also available for students who are already in college and for those pursuing post graduate degrees.
“More than 135 students arrive on campus each fall with a scholarship from SFACF,” said SFACF Vice President Andy Patterson. “There’s no better time to start working on scholarship applications than over Christmas break.”
Applications can be downloaded at www.sfacf.org. Most are due March 15 next year. Outdated applications will not be accepted.
