Walter said the idea for Brandon Lutheran’s outdoor adventure program came from a six-week men’s Bible study group. It was during their discussion of “Why Men Don’t Got To Church,” the outdoor adventure was conceived.
“Churches have unquestionably been ‘feminized’ over the years,” Walter said. “So we wanted to challenge ourselves to do some fun things – not just in our church, but in the community as well – to let people know that Brandon Lutheran Church is alive and well.”
