Police are investigating a robbery after a 21-year-old Brandon man woke up along the street in eastern Sioux Falls with no shoes, and cash was missing from his wallet. He says the last thing he remembers was leaving a bar with two men he didnít know.
The victim was at the Gaslight Lounge near the corner of 12th Street and Elmwood Avenue when two men asked him for $10 at around 11 p.m. Friday, Sioux Falls police spokesman Sam Clemens said. The victim gave the men money in exchange for a ride later that night.
The last thing the victim remembers was leaving the bar with the men at around 12:30 a.m. Saturday. The victim woke up five miles away in the area of South Shafer Avenue and East Silver Maple Circle, near East 26th Street, Clemens said.
The victim suffered back pain and suspects the men robbed him, Clemens said.
One of the suspects was described as a black man, 5-feet-10 and 180 pounds. The second suspect was described as Hispanic, 5-feet-10 and 160 pounds.
