LifeLight is mainly known for its festival held in Worthing over Labor Day weekend, but if festival fans think that August is too far away, there is good news – LifeLight Tours are making a comeback this March and April throughout South Dakota, North Dakota and Iowa.
“The Tours were an effective part of our ministry in the past as we saw lives and communities change,” said LifeLight ministry director Josh Brewer. “After we heard about multiple heartbreaking incidents going on in our home base of Sioux Falls and in surrounding cities, we knew that it was time to bring Tours back.”
The family friendly Tours bring a mini-festival experience with top-quality artists to communities both large and small.
The first tour lineup is a nod to the tours of old, as regional favorites Remedy Drive and VOTA return the LifeLight Tour circuit. They will be joined by Manic Drive and Jeremy Vanderloop. The tour has stops in Sioux Falls, Brookings and Milbank, as well as Rock Rapids and Orange City, Iowa.
Making a bigger loop through the region, the second tour features headliner bands Building 429, known for songs such as “Where I Belong” and current hit “We Won’t Be Shaken,” and Family Force 5, the popular dance-rock band known for their “gritty concoction of mammoth beats, mouth-watering melodies, and explosive guitars.”
Building 429 and Family Force Five will be joined by Hawk Nelson with special guests Satellites & Siren and Lybecker. Show stops include Sioux Falls, Mitchell and Aberdeen, Dickinson, N.D., and Spencer, Iowa.
