This week marks the nationwide release of author Darrin Jon Johnson’s new holiday children’s book, “The Easter Hamster.”
In “The Easter Hamsters,” Tallahassee Roy is back to try to take over another holiday, and this time, he’s not taking no for an answer. Readers will join Roy on his trip to Easter Island for the fictional history of the Easter Bunny. Will Easter be enough, or will he set his sights on spring and take over Verne L. Equinox? Will Roy take over his own holiday to proudly honor all of hamsterkind, or will he end up back in his stinky cage once again.
Published by Tate Publishing and Enterprises, the book is available through bookstores nationwide, from the publisher at www.tatepublishing.com/bookstore, or by visiting barnesandnoble.com or amazon.com.
Johnson works as a project manager and lives in Sioux Falls, with his wife, Melanie, and their three boys.
