'The Watering Can' puppet show coming to Siouxland Libraries

The Watering Can, a puppet show for children 3 years old and up, will be performed June 3-13, by Siouxland Libraries Youth Services staff. In this humorous play, Mr. McGregor struggles to water his plants and protect his garden from a hungry rabbit.

Puppet show admission is first come, first served, but groups of 10 or more must register in advance to attend by calling the Main Library at 367-8710. If an ADA accommodation is needed, please contact the Human Relations Office at 605-367-8745 or at least 72 hours before the event.

This program is offered as part of Siouxland Libraries’ summer reading club “Fizz Boom Read,” in which kids can earn a variety of prizes by keeping track of their summer reading. Reading logs are available on our website,, and at any Siouxland Libraries branch.
