Community survey results to be reported at tonight's council meeting

Results of a community survey conducted by the University of South Dakota Government Research Bureau will be reported at tonight's meeting of the Brandon City Council.
Bill Anderson, director off the Government Research Bureau, will discuss the results of the community study conducted earlier this year.
Also on tonight's agenda is a request from Todd Long to install sidewalk to the east and south of Honeybee Daycare located an the corner of Sioux and Redwood boulevards. Long said the road, which is a truck route, is dangerous for kids riding their bikes to school.
Dave Swier gathered an estimate of $6,000 for a sidewalk 6-feet wide and 350 feet long.
The council will conduct 2011 budget work session and follow-up with the first reading of Budget Ordinance No. 475.
As usual, the meeting begins at 6 p.m. in the council chambers at 308 Main Ave.
