Nipe to speak at Democratic Forum

Sue Nipe, Democratic candidate for Minnehaha County Auditor, will speak at the Minnehaha County Democratic Forum, Friday, Sept. 10. The Forum meeting begins at noon at the Sioux Falls VFW Club, 3601 S.Minnesota Ave.
Nipe has more than a decade of experience as an election judge in both Minnesota and South Dakota. Her financial management experience includes overseeing budgets as a department chair in several organizations in South Dakota and Minnesota, as executive director of a neighborhood organization in St. Paul, Minn., and through working with education employees analyzing general funds, capital budgets and special education funds in 75 school districts in South Dakota. Nipe has her bachelor's degree from Northern Illinois University, her master's degree from South Dakota State University in Brookings, and her Juris Doctorate from William Mitchell College of Law in St. Paul.
The Forum is held every Friday. The business meeting is followed by the program at 12:20 p.m. Lunch is available for a small price from 11:15 a.m. and throughout the meeting. There is no charge to attend.
