Many special events are scheduled for Saturday. The daily admission fee includes access to the corn maze, use of the areas only jumping pillow and most activities for the day. Activities scheduled for the day include: a rocket launcher and humvee display, a rock climbing wall and two obstacle courses provided by the South Dakota National Guard; presentations on Stranger Danger by a representative from the Minnehaha County Sheriff’s office; a 9/11 remembrance program at 2 pm; the Sanford helicopter will make a landing and will be on display from 3 to 5 p.m., wagon rides, visits from Yogi Bear and Boo Boo, an evening community bon fire, and more.

A bean bag tournament will also be held on the day of the event at 3 p.m. The cost per team is $10 and teams or individuals can pre-register by calling the campground office at 332-2233.

A portion of the proceeds from the weekend will be donated to Operation Cares. Operation Cares is an organization that provides support to the families of service men and women who have been called away from their families to support and defend our country.
