Hillman's 527 series propels Lynx boys to win at Dell Rapids
BV girls maintain perfect 14-0 record

The Lynx bowling teams traveled to face first-year team, the Dell Rapids Quarriers.
The Brandon Valley boys took advantage of the inexperienced Quarriers. The varsity 1 team defeated Dell Rapids 23-2, which was largely fueled by Josh Hillman’s 220 game and 527 series.
Despite the easy run by the varsity 1 team, the varsity 2 boys came up against some quality competition in their 19-6 loss. Freshman Jacob Giebink recorded the high series, which was a 396, and sophmore Mike Hillman rolled a high game of 149.
In the overall picture, the Lynx boys won the match, 29-21, improving their season mark at 7 wins, 5 losses and 2 ties.
The Lady Lynx team extended their perfect season record to 14-0 with solid performances by th varsity 1 team.
Sophomore Emily Steinhouse rolled a 213 game and senior Haley Rubin finished with a 534 series en route to the 23 ½-1 ½ victory.
The Lynx varsity 2 girls did not compete against anyone, but that didn’t stop eighth grader Lauren Blue from rolling a 202 game and 496 series. Sophomore Mariah Clark also had a good day on the lanes, posting her first 200 game in her prep career.
This week, the Lynx host high-powered Roosevelt on Tuesday and West Central pays a visit to Victory Lanes on Friday.
