The 12th Annual Curt Alberty Memorial Golf Tournament for the benefit of Bethany Meadows in Brandon will be held on Friday, May 17 at the Brandon Municipal Golf Course. The tournament will begin with registration and a free breakfast at 7:15 a.m. followed by a shotgun start at 8 a.m. When play finishes, all golfers will be treated to a free grilled pork loin lunch thanks to the generosity of sponsors.
Again this year, the tournament will feature a $10,000 hole-in-one contest sponsored by George Boom Funeral Home. There is also a putting challenge sponsored by Brandon ACE Hardware, Oakridge Nursery & Landscaping, Monte’s Woodshop and Sioux Valley Energy.
This annual event raises money to help support the residents of Bethany Meadows and Bethany Home – Brandon. Money from previous tournaments has gone toward medical equipment purchases for Bethany Meadows, as well as audio/visual equipment and landscaping at the facility.
Cost for a 4-person team is $350; each player receive a participation gift thanks to Omnicare of South Dakota and Great Western Bank, premier sponsors of the event.
