Names released in Tuesday's two-vehicle accident

Five people were injured in a two-vehicle crash early Tuesday evening on S.D. Highway 11 near the intersection of Madison Street south of Brandon.
According to reports from the South Dakota Highway Patrol, Ryan Jordan Kohlmeyer, 20, Brandon, was driving a 2008 Chevrolet Cobalt south when the vehicle crossed into the northbound lane of travel. It was struck on the passenger side by a northbound 2004 Ford Expedition driven by Stacey Ann Williamson, 51, of Garretson. Both vehicles came to rest on the east shoulder of the highway.
Kohlmeyer and his wife, Nicole South, 20, suffered serious injuries and were taken to a Sioux Falls hospital. Their 22-month-old daughters, Peyton and Jordan, suffered critical injuries and were taken to a Sioux Falls hospital.
Williamson suffered minor injuries and was treated and released from a Sioux Falls hospital. She was not wearing a seatbelt.
All occupants in the Kohlmeyer vehicle were wearing seatbelts or were in child safety seats.
The South Dakota Highway Patrol is investigating. Minnehaha County Sheriff’s Office, Brandon Police Department and Brandon Fire Department assisted.
