Search is on for South Dakota’s oldest resident

South Dakota Health Care Association’s Century Club is in search of the 2013 Centenarian of the Year. In order to qualify for this honorable recognition, the Centenarian’s birth date must be before Nov. 25, 1904, and must at least 108 years old to be considered for the recognition.
According to Century Club records, Dorothy Antritter who lives in Watertown, was born Nov. 25, 1904, is currently the eldest living South Dakotan and is anticipating celebrating her 109th birthday.
The Century Club¬¬ is open to all South Dakotans upon reaching their100th birthday. There are no dues and every inductee receives a specially designed, framed certificate and membership card. The Century Club¬¬ has received nearly 1,050 applicants to induct since it began in 1997.
